The JCAE Doctoral Consortium and Symposium 2017 is co-organized by Tamkang University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Deakin University and University of Technology Sydney. The Doctoral Consortium provides an opportunity for students and junior faculty members to present their proposals and interact with renowned professors of international standing. The symposium, on the other hand provides a platform for accounting, economics and corporate governance academics to present cutting-edge research findings and to exchange insightful perspectives.
The two-day symposium comprises Plenary Paper Sessions, Concurrent Paper Sessions, Research Forums and a Corporate Social Responsibility and Governance Forum, preceded by a one-day Doctoral Consortium. The speakers for the Doctoral Consortium and Research Forums will be Professor Eli Bartov, New York University, Professor Dan Simunic, University of British Columbia and Professor Bin Srinidhi, University of Texas at Arlington.
